Problem:

Stellar Cloud Storage is an online storage company offering large storage capacity and fast upload speeds. It's more powerful than your typical clouds — it's cosmic. I was tasked with creating a hand-lettered wordmark and comprehensive brand guidelines for this growing tech company.

Solution:

For the wordmark, I focused on thick, sturdy sans-serif letterforms as a nod to modern technology while also communicating the reliability and solidity of the platform. A subtle tilt was introduced to the letterforms to suggest speed and momentum.

For the colour palette, I chose purples and blues to evoke a futuristic, space-inspired feel, accented by bright secondary colours for contrast on smaller elements. And for typography, I selected squared-off, futuristic typefaces that still feel grounded and approachable. This was to reinforce the brand's balance of innovation and trustworthiness.
